Obituary of Lillian Barbara Fredericks

Lillian Barbara Fredericks, 83, of Millstone Township, departed this life on Thursday, April 19, 2012, surround by her family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lilly and Arthur Noble Bryan. She grew up in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island and moved to New Jersey when she married. Lillian was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. A devoted wife and mother, she was also a school bus driver, honored 4-H leader, participated in local theatre groups, a communicant of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and a member of the Millstone Seniors. Lillian was married to her loving husband, the late William Stephen Fredericks, for 58 years. She leaves five devoted children and their spouses, Kathleen “KL” of New York City, William and his wife Barbara, Ruth, Barbara and Jerry Ostrander and Andrew and Patricia, all residing in Millstone Township: 10 grandchildren, Jarred, Bryan, Nichole and Christina Fredericks, Haley and Austin “AJ” Ostrander and Tyler, Logan, Aidan and Liam Fredericks; and three great-grandchildren Alyssa, Dean and Braidy. Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 pm Sunday for family and friends at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday at St Peter’s Episcopal Church, 33 Throckmorton St. Freehold. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Church Cemetery, Manalapan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in the name of Lillian Fredericks.
