Obituary of June R. Palmer
June R. Palmer, 74, of Manalapan Township died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. Mrs. Palmer was born in Freehold Township.
Mrs. Palmer was a graduate of Helene Fuld School of Nursing, Trenton.
She worked with her husband at Boxwood Farm, a family operated farm in Manalapan Township. Prior to that Mrs. Palmer was a registered nurse for Dr. Samuel Barr, Englishtown. First and foremost, she was a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Palmer was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Englishtown.
A sister, Marie Christina Bosl, died in 2011.
Surviving are her husband, Taylor Palmer, Jr.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Taylor “Chuck” and Jennifer Palmer; Scott A. and Linda Palmer, and Lee E. and Darci Palmer; a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Ted Schulz; a brother, Barney Kohn; and ten grandchildren, Ashley, Nicole, Haley, Kaitlin Megan, Erin, Cody, and Zachary Palmer; and Steven and Brian Schulz. June was very much loved by her entire family.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to First Presbyterian Church, 50 Main Street, Englishtown, NJ 07726 would be appreciated.
