Obituary of Jesse M. Pitts

Jesse M. Pitts, 74, of Freehold died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Hardaway, Alabama, he lived in Englishtown prior to moving to Freehold 38 years ago. Mr. Pitts was a laborer for Local No. 472, Cliffwood. He was a Member and Deacon of Bibleway Pentecostal Church, Freehold. He was predeceased by two sons, Vincent Pitts in 2002, and Anthony Lindburgh Pitts in 2011. Surviving are his wife, Ceola Bonner Pitts; two sons, Nathan Pitts and McKenzie Pitts; two daughters, Rose Marie Calhoun and Aldertha Pitts; two brothers, James Otis Pitts and Richard Pitts; two sisters, Pearl Crawley and Martha Felton; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a special devoted cousin, Eddie Dean Taylor. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the New Hope Baptist Church, 28 First Street, Freehold, at Noon. Relatives and friends may call at the Church from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
