Michelle Mac Innes, 29, of Jackson passed away suddenly Saturday, June 2, 2012 .
Our angel Michelle arrived on November 14th 1982. This pure giving sweet girl’s mission on this earth was to her family and friends over the next 29 years. She gave to family, friends and strangers the first time she met a firm sense of Honesty, Charity, and Humility when you needed a hug or a helping hand. She was very compassionate and brought a sense of comfort for those in their deepest time of troubles or need. She had a deep love for her parents and her brothers. Michelle was a true friend to her two sister-in-laws, whom she considered as her sisters. Michelle had a special bond between her two nephews and three nieces. She made every holiday, birthday and visit so very special too them all.
Michelle Graduated from Allentown High school in 2001. She excelled in athletics and academics. Michelle then attended Mercer County Community College on a Scholarship for Soccer and Basketball. Michelle Graduated in 2003 with an AA in Advertising Design with Honors and was awarded Scholar Athlete of the Year. Michelle then attended Monmouth University and Graduated in 2005 with a BA Graphic Art Design.
After completing college Michelle followed her dream by entering the family business East Coast Salt. Over the next 7 years with Michelle’s guidance the company leaped forward during a time with economic difficulties. Michelle handled sales, HR, and became President of the company.
Michelle loved watching her favorite team the New York Giants. She attended many sporting events with her long time college friend Stacey. She was always seen with her little dog Jake by her side. She will be missed by all. Our angel was taken back to heaven to be with our Lord, On June 2nd 2012. Our hearts are saddened by her passing. All who truly had a chance to know Michelle have lost a piece of themselves due to this tragedy. The world is a lesser place without this true angel.
She is predeceased by her grandparents Dave and Eleanor Mac Innes, and her maternal grandfather Donald Merker. She is survived by her parents, David & Deborah Mac Innes of Jackson, her grandmother Marge Merker and her two brothers David and his wife Kelly of Jackson and Michael and his wife Cristin of Englishtown. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, David, Matthew, Caitlin Rae, Madison and Olivia Mac Innes.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 4-8 pm at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, NJ. A mass will be offered Friday, June 8 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church 90 Stillhouse Rd, Perrineville, NJ. Michelle was in the process of establishing a college fund for her nieces and nephews. In memory of Michelle, the family wishes to continue with the fund. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the college fund for her nieces and nephews.
