Obituary of E. Jane Cecelski
E. Jane Cecelski, 83, of Englishtown died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Cecelski was born in Freehold and had resided there until moving to Englishtown 15 years ago.
She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of the CentraState Medical Center Auxiliary; a longtime volunteer for CentraState Medical Center Thrift Shop and Open Door of Freehold.; and had served on election days for the Monmouth County Board of Elections.
She was a graduate of St. Rose of Lima School and Freehold High School.
Her husband, Edward P. Cecelski, died in 1991. She was also predeceased by brother, David Kelsey.
Surviving are three sons, Lee E. Cecelski and his wife Anne, Richard J. Cecelski and his wife Jane, and Donald C. Cecelski; three daughters, Donna McCann and her husband Peter, Jayne L. Carr, and Mary R. Elliott; two sisters, Marilyn Anderson and her husband Bob and Daisy Kelsey; 11 grandchildren, Kevin, Mike, Laurel Ann, Joey, Jason, Adam, Matthew, Nicole, Jaine, Damon, and Olivia; and three great grandchildren, Austin, Parker, and Brennan.
Viewing hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery.
