Obituary of Lewis H. Schenck

Lewis H. Schenck, Jr., 87, of Freehold Township died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Monmouth Crossing, Freehold Township. Mr. Schenck was born in Cranbury. He was served in the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1952. He was a retired farmer. He was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Lillian Schenck; a brother, Karl S. Schenck, a sister, Helen Thomas, and a nephew, Stanley Thomas. Surviving are a sister, Anne Wagner, three nieces, Sarah Stines and her husband Gary, Kathy Kregg and her husband Robert, and Janet Shikoluk and her husband Sheldon; a nephew, Karl Schenck and his wife Marlene; and two great nieces, Krisi and Lynn. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Bethesda United Methodist Church, 928 Main Street, Adelphia, NJ 07712 would be appreciated.
