Obituary of Dolores R. Franca

Dolores R. Franca, age 60, of Toms River passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Dolores was born in Malden, Massachusetts. She resided in Freehold from 1964 until her move to Toms River in 1979. She was a bus driver for Freehold Regional High School before her retirement. She was predeceased by her parents John V. and Mary Terramagra Franca. Surviving is her brother; John Franca of Warwick, R.I., her two sisters; Celia Hersey of Warwick, R.I. and Marie S. Watkins of Freehold. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting will be held at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
