Obituary of Cherly Emanuella Quandt

Cheryl Emanuella Quandt (nee Valenta) , 65 of Freehold, formerly of Astoria, Queens, N.Y. died on June 28, 2012 at home. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary K. Valenta; loving sister of Diane V. Cerny and loving twin of Marie V. Chvatal and husband Joseph W. Chvatal, Jr., adored aunt of Louis C. Cerny and wife Norma, Kathryn L. Cerny, Carol A. Carlson and husband Gary, Laurie A. Chvatal, Joseph W. Chvatal, III, and Melissa C. Custer and husband Chuck; and the cherished great aunt of Charlene and Kenneth Carlson, Alex and Spencer Cerny, and Addison and Logan Custer. Cheryl was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Freehold and D.A. Sokol Gymnastics, Astoria, Queens, N.Y. Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be held at Linden Hill Cemetery, Queens, New York on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts to American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702 would be appreciated by the family.
