Obituary of Theresa Mary Kennedy

Theresa Mary Kennedy, 89 of Freehold Township died Friday, July 27, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she lived in Livingston prior to moving to Freehold Township 44 years ago. Mrs. Kennedy was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold; and was a U.S. Marine Corp Women’s Reserve Veteran of World War II. Her husband, James J. Kennedy died in 1997. Surviving are three sons, James Kennedy, Monmouth Junction, Robert D. Kennedy, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Kevin Kennedy, Barnegat; a sister, Bernadette McMahon, Freehold Township; and three granddaughters, Kimberly, Courtney, and Kelly. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Brig. General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
