Obituary of Mildred Beneducci Cicero

Mildred Beneducci Cicero, 79 of Toms River, passed away suddenly on March 31, 2016. She was born in Staten Island, New York before moving to the farm in Howell to raise her family. Millie loved her garden and all her animals. She later retired to Toms River. Her greatest joy in life were her four children and eight grandchildren. Nothing gave her more pleasure than family. Millie worked as a lab technician at Worthington Diagnostics, Freehold for over ten years. She was an avid reader, crossword puzzle player, sweet junkie and loved watching TV. She was predeceased by her ex-husband, Joseph Cicero. Mildred is survived by her four children, Dr. Gerard Cicero and his wife Cathy, Chicago, Illinois, Steven Cicero, Howell, Joseph Cicero and his wife Nancy, Freehold, and daughter Joanne Roth and her husband Mitch, Freehold; her siblings, Irene Collins and Joseph Beneducci, both of Florida, and Shirley Primavera, New York; her grandchildren, Maris, Augie, Robbie, Leeza, Michael, Brandon, Jenna, and Zachary; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Donations in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
