Obituary of Charles Francis Kniffin

Charles Francis Kniffin, Sr., 83, of Freehold Township died Friday, August 24, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Kniffin was born in Orange. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Kniffin was a truck driver for Northern Express, Avenel before his retirement. A son, Charles Francis Kniffin, Jr. , died in 2002. Surviving are his wife, Helen Craft Kniffin; a son, John Kniffin, two daughters, Helen Travisano and Linda Christensen; a brother, Terrence Kniffin; a sister, Eleanor Francis; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home o Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
