Obituary of Larry Monroe Yow

Larry Monroe Yow of Bridgeport, CT and formerly of Freehold died on Friday, April 1. He was 79 years old. Born in Badin, North Carolina in 1936, he was the only son of Burton M. Yow and Ruby Sells. Larry was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Judi A. Lowder whom he met at Prospect Baptist Church in Albemarle, NC. They raised three sons: Phillip, Christopher and Jonathan. A graduate of North Carolina State University with a BS in Textile Engineering, he held numerous executive leadership positions with the following companies: Monsanto, Glen Raven, Carisbrook and NYP Corp. Larry is survived by his sister, Nancy Russell, nephew Greg Russell, his three sons and their spouses, Phillip and Kim, Chris and Laurie, Jon and Kerri, and his grandchildren, Beverly, Kinsey, Katie, Jack and Marley.
