Obituary of Dora Hammond

Dora Hammond, 80, of Jackson Township died Thursday, November 8, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Hammond was born in New Brunswick. She was a seamstress before her retirement. Her husband, Oscar Hammond, died on September 28, 2012. She was also predeceased by a son, Oscar Joseph Hammond in 2001. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Lisa Hammond; two grandsons, Joshua Hammond and his wife Melissa and Jason Hammond and his wife Christina; and two great grandchildren, Ava and Ryder. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
