Obituary of Natalie Bernardo
Natalie Bernardo, 89, of Englishtown, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Elizabeth, she lived there prior to moving to Englishtown in 1947.
Mrs. Bernardo was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of St. Thomas More. R.C. Church, and a member of the Manalapan-Englishtown Senior Citizens Club, and the Sunshine Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paulino Bernardo, and her son-in-law, Edward Hayden, Sr., both in 1998.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Arleen Bernardo, Princeton Junction; a daughter, Ilda Hayden, Point Pleasant Beach; four grandchildren, Michelle Bernardo, Michael Bernardo and his wife, Kelly, Karen Hayden, and Edward Hayden, Jr. and his wife, Edye; and a great granddaughter, Nicole Hayden.
Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Manalapan Township. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan Township. Donations in her memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016 would be appreciated.
