Obituary of Thomas W. Sessa

Thomas W. Sessa, 94 of Freehold passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Victoria House Healthcare, Matawan. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he lived there prior to moving to Freehold 15 years ago. Mr. Sessa was the owner of Jackie’s Restaurant, Brooklyn, New York. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of American Legion Post No. 54, Freehold. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Jacqueline Vetrano Sessa; six sons, Thomas, Carmine, Anthony, Michael, Dennis, and James Sessa; a brother, Carmine Sessa; a sister, Angelina Elardo; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima Chapel. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum, Marlboro Township.
