Obituary of Louis M. Acinapura

Louis M. Acinapura, age 69, of Clarksburg, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold. Mr. Acinapura was born in Union City, NJ. He lived in Rivervale, NJ before moving to Clarksburg 35 years ago. Mr. Acinapura was a graduate of the New Mexico Military Institute. He owned and operated Freight Masters of New Jersey. He also enjoyed golf, bowling and spending time with his family. He is predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Terrie O’Brien Acinapura, his sister Judy Lindner and his best friend and brother-in-law Kevin O’Brien. Surviving are a son and daughter-in law Nicholas E. and Jessica Acinapura of Jackson, a daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth J. and Tony Carben of Ewing, his granddaughter Gabriella, three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law Jean and Michael Madia, Rosie and Ken Doran and Joan O’Brien. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and his companion of several years Nancy Greenley. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine RC Church, Freehold. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. A donation in Lou’s name may be made to the American Stroke Association at www.strokeassociation.org.
