Obituary of Mary Jane Sharpe
Mary Jane Sharpe, 86 of Freehold, died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at home. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she has lived in Freehold for the past 54 years.
Ms. Sharpe was a banquet manager at Van’s Freehold Inn, Freehold for 22 years, retiring several years ago.
She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold and a member of the Altar Rosary Society.
She was a volunteer at the CentraState Medical Center Thrift Shop, and was named CentraState Medical Center Volunteer of the Year in 2011.
She was predeceased by her son, Geoffrey Lee Sharpe in 2001.
Surviving are three sons, Jim Sharpe, Jr., Rick Sharpe, and Mark Sharpe; four daughters, Kathy Wilson, Deborah McNish, Chris Alexander and Kim Salvaggio; a sister, Patricia Hawkins; 11 grandchildren; and a great grandson.
A Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. Donations in her memory to the St. Joseph’s Indian School, Chamberlain, SD (www.STJO.org) would be appreciated.
