Obituary of Deborah L. Keyes

Deborah L. Keyes, 56, of Freehold died Monday, December 17, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong Freehold resident. He was a graduate of Freehold High School, class of 1974 and attended Rutgers University, Livingston Campus, New Brunswick where she was a member of both school’s basketball teams. She was predeceased by her mother, Geraldine Keyes, in 1996. Surviving are a son, Kendal S. Keyes; her father, Joseph M. Keyes; a brother, Joseph Keyes, Jr.; her sister Torry Keyes; her godmother, Elizabeth Watson; and an aunt who served as her caregiver, Patricia Robinson. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers memorial donations care of the family would be appreciated.
