Obituary of Lucile Hannah Shields

Lucile Hannah Shields, 90, of Freehold died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Brookside, Freehold. Mrs. Shields was born in McDonough, N.Y. and had resided in Freehold since 1971. She was formerly employed at the Monmouth County Court House, Freehold. She was a member of the Howell Senior Citizens Club and the Commission for the Blind. Surviving are four daughters, Bettina Scerbo and her husband Frank, Patricia Keck and her husband Bill, Pamela Shields and her husband David Lyons, and Barbara Guth; 12 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held during the visiting hours at 5:00 p.m. The interment will be held privately.
