Obituary of Kathryn Elvira Zupa

Kathryn Elvira Zupa, age 93, of Jackson, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she lived in Dumont, NJ and Port Orange FL., where she lived for 28 years prior to Jackson, NJ for the last 5 years. She was a proud wife, mother and homemaker. Kathryn is predeceased by her husband Michael (1976) and her brother Thomas Velardi. Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-laws: Robert and Kathleen Zupa of Freehold, Richard and Daria of Dumont, nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 10 a.m. at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold. Entombment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
