Obituary of Marie Anne Donovan

Marie Anne Donovan of Dover, Delaware departed peacefully Monday, January 21, 2013 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Rockville, Maryland at the age of 77. Born in West Freehold, Marie became a registered nurse after graduating from Freehold High School, Class of 1953, and the Ann May School of Nursing in Neptune. Marie was a career nurse in the U.S. Navy and later the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a captain. She is survived by two sisters, Emily Cooke of Rockville, Maryland and Janet Borchardt of Cranbury, NJ. A memorial gathering will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 11:30 a.m.
