I was shocked and saddend to hear about the loss of Gary. My sympathies go out to Gary's family. Wow....I just found out about this today. It came as such a shock because Gary so much about being alive. His smile, his interests in the outdoors, his plants, and his warmth. I've never met someone like Gary before, so rich in many many ways. The world is less for having lost him, but I hope he has found peace in where he has gone. He will be missed.

I've worked with Gary for only a short time. However, I found out that Gary loved to cook; as do I. We had many discussions about receipes and cooking utensiles. I esspecially remembered Gary asking me whether I had a double oven and whether my center burner was offset on my GE gas stove. I will miss our conversations and sharing our common interests. Gary: I had been expecting to see you back at work in your office at any time soon. SO it was with great sadness that I heard that you had left us.
