Obituary of Andrew R. Zarnowski

Andrew R. Zarnowski, 65, of Freehold died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at home. He was born in Lakehurst and was a lifelong Freehold resident. He was a graduate of Freehold Regional High School, Class of 1965. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam and later in Germany. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 54, Freehold. He was employed at the Borough of Freehold Street Department from 1973 until his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Darcy Wisotsky Zarnowski; a daughter and son-in-law Amanda Zarnowski and Joe Mason; two brothers and a sister-in-law, James D. Zarnowski and Joseph M. and JoAnne Zarnowski; a sister and brother-in-law, Joanie and Thomas Hampton; and three nieces, Lisa, Christina, and Kelly. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
