Obituary of Vito W. Felise

Vito W. Felise, 74 of Millstone Township passed away peacefully on April 28, 2013 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Vito was born and raised in Jersey City. He served in the U.S. Army and was a firefighter in Jersey City with Local No. 1066, Engine 20, Ladder 5, for 32 years. Vito loved the outdoors and took great pride in raising and flying his pigeons. He was a member of the Bayshore Variety Pigeon Club. Vito was preceded in death by his father, Salvatore. Surviving are his loving wife, Patricia; his mother, Angelina Felise, Toms River; a sister, Sally Ann Wernock and her husband Dennis, Toms River. He leaves behind three stepchildren, Michael, Debbie and Mark Hayek, Fairfield; a nephew, Frank Sardano, Toms River; and a niece, Dana Sardano, Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the United Presbyterian Church of Millstone, 211 Millstone Road, Millstone, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
