Heather was friends with my daughter, Lauren Sears. They met while both working at Elmwood Fitness in New Orleans. Heather lived with me for several months after Katrina while she settled in Atlanta. I so enjoyed the time that she was at my home. She was a beautiful, kind young lady with a great spirit. We are all so sad about the loss of Heather. We will remember her always and keep Heather and all of you in our prayers. We are all better for having known Heather.

I remember the first day I met Heather. I will never forget her smile. We worked together at Elmwood Fitness Center in New Orleans and became friends instantly. We had such wonderful times together. After she moved to Atlanta, we didn't communicate as much but kept in contact through Facebook. As we go through kids, friends come and go and some of them we think about often. Heather was one of those friends. I missed her when she moved and as I think back on all those memories I miss her more. She was a great friend and had a kind heart. I pray for her family, friends, and all those who knew and loved her as I did. She will be missed by many.
