Obituary of Mary Dawson
Mary Dawson, 85, of Freehold Township died Friday, April 22, 2016 at Wedgwood Gardens, Freehold Township. Mrs. Dawson was born in Freehold and was a lifelong resident of the area.
She was a machine operator for Kimberly-Clark, Spotswood before her retirement. Prior to that, she was a waitress at the Tony’s Freehold Grill.
She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a former member of the Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4374, Freehold.
Her husband, Richard Franklin Dawson, died in 1966. She was also predeceased by a grandson, Edward Mueller in 2010.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara A. Mueller, Freehold Township; two brothers, Frank Ostrowsky, Freehold and Edward Ostrowsky, South River; a sister, Rose Bradley, St. Augustine, Florida; and a granddaughter, Mindy Stratman.
The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
