Obituary of Theodore S. Seiber
Theodore “Ted” S. Seiber, 75, of Freehold Township died Monday, May 20, 2013 at home after a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Neptune Township.
Mr. Seiber was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was grocery manager for Food Circus, Middletown where he was employed for over 30 years before his retirement in 2002.
Mr. Seiber was member of the First Baptist Church, Freehold where he served as Chairman of the Board of Deacons. He was a graduate of Freehold High School and a member of the License Plate Club.
He loved to play Santa Claus at Applewood Estates, his church, and for his neighbors.
He was predeceased by his father John H. Seiber in 2002 and his mother Pearl Seiber in 1999.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, MaryAnn Romanski Seiber; and a sister-in-law Wanda.
Ted and MaryAnn were lovingly sustained throughout Ted’s journey by numerous friends and their church family. Ted’s 12 years as deacon in the church and his playing Santa to all ages were some of the happiest in his life.
The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, 81 West Main Street, Freehold on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William L. Frederickson officiating. The interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
