Obituary of Gloriia M. Hernandez

Gloria Margarita Hernandez, 89, of West New York, NJ died peacefully on Sunday June 2, 2013 at Center State Hospital in Freehold, NJ after a battle with cancer. She was born in Matanzas, Cuba. Gloria Margarita Hernandez worked at Apex Handbag for twenty years. She was a Godly woman who kept her faith until the very end. She loved to read, cook, dance, spend time with her family, and watch classic movies. She was predeceased by her parents Fermina and Amado Hernandez, her brothers Carlos Hernandez, Neime Hernandez, Orbein Hernandez, and her sister Chela Hernandez. Surviving are her daughter and son, Luisa Guzman and Ruben Alberto; Son in law, Victor Guzman; Grandchildren, Beatriz Alayon and Robert Guzman; Sister, Marina Grande; and brothers, Jorge Hernandez; Orestes Hernandez; Yvan Hernandez and Luis Hernandez. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will be held at noon followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
