Obituary of Robert John Beruck

Robert John Beruck, 63, of Howell Township died Thursday, June 6, 2013 after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born in Elizabeth. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving aboard the USS Forrestal. He loved racing his 1971 Chevy Chevelle at Raceway Park. He enjoyed golf, carpentry, and bowling. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Beatrice Rossi Beruck. Surviving are a sister, Janice Reuter, Howell Township; a brother, Gary Beruck, North Carolina; three nieces, Danielle Hudanish & her husband Robert, Lindsey, and Jaime; and a great nephew, Mason. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. followed by interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
