Obituary of Cameron D. Crooms

Cameron D. Crooms, 36, of Freehold passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning on June 23, 2013. He was a longtime resident of Freehold. Cameron graduated from Freehold Intermediate School and Freehold High School. He went on to lean his culinary certification in the Job Corps. He was a devoted father who loved life, family, and friends with deep respect. He leaves to mourn his mother, Etta M. Crooms and father Carson Givens, Sr., his fiancée and life partner, Dana Jacobs; six children, Jelen, Chasmere, Cameron, Chasity, Savion and Jeleyah Crooms; three brothers, Charles Parham, Carson Givens, Jr., and Chawn Givens; and a host of family and friends. The viewing will be held at the Bethel A.M.E. Church, 3 Waterworks Road, Freehold on Friday from 11:00 to noon. Funeral services will be held at noon followed by interment at Monmouth Memorial park, Tinton Falls. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
