Obituary of Rudolph Rucker

Rudolph "Rudy" Rucker, 68, of Englishtown passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, April 29, 2016. He was predeceased by his mother Irene and his father Alton. He is also predeceased by his brothers Al and Norwood. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Marlene Lewis Rucker, and his brother, Daniel. He is also survived by his two daughters Kimberly Bidun and her husband Dave of Freehold Township and Tracy Rudolph and her husband Tobey of Jackson Township. Rudy was the proud grandfather of Brianna Bidun and Mason Rudolph. He was a self employed carpenter. Rudy was a Councilman for the Borough of Englishtown for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a former member of the Turkey Swamp Rod and Gun Club. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Englishtown-Manalapan Volunteer First Aid Squad, 7 Sanford Street, Manalapan New Jersey, 07726. A memorial gathering will be held at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held during the visiting hours at 7:00 p.m.
