Obituary of Carl E. Brown

Carl E. “Woody” Brown, Jr., 45, of Lakewood, Passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. Born in Neptune Township, he lived in Lakewood all his life. Mr. Brown was a former dietary aide at Brandywine Assisted Living, Brick. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl E. Brown, Sr. and Augustine Crippen, and a brother, James Brown. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, William and Julia Brown, Lakewood; a sister, Tonia D. Brown, Lakewood; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 143 John Street, Lakewood on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at the Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Monmouth Memorial Park Cemetery, Tinton Falls. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
