Obituary of Leo Michael Lamb

Leo Michael Lamb, 85, of Manalapan Township died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at home. He was born in Trenton. Mr. Lamb served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1945 to 1946. He was a graduate of Rutgers University, Class of 1972. He was a communicant of St. Bartholomew R. C. Church, East Brunswick where he served as a Eucharistic minister. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Council No. 11873, Knights of Columbus and 4th Degree Assembly, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, all of East Brunswick. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary E. Lamb, in 1987. Surviving are his wife, Rose Weir Lamb; two sons, Dennis Lamb and Lynn Eisenstein and Kevin Lamb and his wife Joyce; a daughter, Colleen K. Daugherty and her husband Todd; a brother, Vincent Lamb; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, Rebecca, Ashley, Kyle and Kasey Lamb, and Sydney and Todd Daugherty. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone Township on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
