Obituary of Ann A. Munyer

Ann A. Munyer, 93, of Howell Township died peacefully on May 3, 2016 surrounded by her family at home. Mrs. Munyer was born in Chicago, Illinois and had resided in Somerville before moving to Howell Township in 1985. She was a bookkeeper for the Rolling Hills Girl Scout Council, Somerville before her retirement in 1985. Mrs. Munyer was a communicant of St. William the Abbot R.C. Church, Howell Township. She was a loving, caring and generous wife, mother, and grandmother who was devoted to her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, George Munyer, in 2008. Surviving are two sons, Leonard Munyer, Howell Township and George Munyer and wife Barbara, Damascus, Maryland; a daughter, Deborah Moroney and husband Kevin, Howell Township; and five grandchildren, Michael, Lauren, Kristen, Amanda, and Alyssa. The family expresses their gratitude to all those who provided loving care to Mom throughout the years. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Monday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery.
