Obituary of Patricia A. Sweeney

Patricia A. Sweeney, 55, of Bayville, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2013 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Newark, she lived in Irvington and Silver Beach prior to moving to Bayville 20 years ago. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold T. Jr. and Helen Kelly Sweeney, and her loving companion, Jack Hnat. Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and John Bence, with whom she lived, a brother, Mark T. Sweeney, Freehold, and her nephew, Aidan Patrick Sweeney. As per Pat's request, there will be no viewing. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Justin's R.C. Church, 975 Fischer Blvd.,Toms River. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. Donations in her memory to the Bayville First Aid Squad, Station Road, Bayville, NJ 08721 would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
