Obituary of Barbara Walters Zampella

Barbara Walters Zampella, 59, of Brick Township, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Manchester Manor Rehabilitation Center, Manchester Township. Born in Neptune, she lived in Lanoka Harbor prior to moving to Brick 16 years ago. Mrs. Zampella was a realtor for Century 21 Realty, Lanoka Harbor. Prior to that, she was employed at the Central Jersey Bank, Freehold. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Dora Lukenoff Thielemann; and her first husband, Del Walters. Surviving is her husband, Louis V. Zampella; a son, Kyle Walters, Point Pleasant; a daughter, Krista Walters, New Egypt; a brother, Robert Thielemann and his children, Katie, Becky, and Robert Thielemann; a stepson, Louis Zampella and his wife, Susan, Point Pleasant Borough; a stepdaughter, Jamie Zampella, Brick; and a step grandson, Matthew Zampella. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., and Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Donations in her memory to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
