Obituary of Mary McPaul

Mary McPaul, 75, of Morganville died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 surrounded by her family at home. She was born in Newcastle-Upon Tyne, England before moving to New Jersey 53 years ago. Mrs. McPaul was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s R.C. Church, Marlboro. Her beloved husband, James McPaul, died in 2001. A son, Vincent McPaul, died in 2008. Surviving are two sons, Kevin McPaul and his wife Pamela and Patrick McPaul and his wife Beth; five daughters, Deirdre Berry and her husband Daniel, Alice McPaul, Jacqueline McPaul, Mary T. McPaul, and Kathleen Darby and her husband Andrew; and 14 grandchildren, Kevin, Sean, Megan, Caitlin, Christine, Alexandra, Michael, Matthew, James, Kelly, Owen, Caden, Kiera and Neave; a daughter-in-law, Christine McPaul; a son-in-law, Steven Eichhorn; and her cat Peanuts. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
