Obituary of Nancy E. Rogers

Nancy E. Rogers, 56, of Freehold Township passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in East Orange, she lived in West Orange prior to moving to Freehold 23 years ago. Mrs. Rogers was a security officer at Raceway Park, Old Bridge for ten years, retiring nine years ago. She was a 1975 graduate of West Orange High School. She was predeceased by her father, Frank H. Young, Jr. Surviving are her husband, Michael J. Rogers, Sr.; her son, Michael J. Rogers, Jr., Freehold Township; her daughter, Kelly Moore, Freehold Township; her mother, Jeanne Ribbe Young, West Orange; a brother, Michael C. Young, West Orange; three sisters, Sharon Charles, Parsippany, Lisa Karl, Panther Valley, and Valerie Machado, West Orange; and two grandchildren, Brayden and Patrick Moore. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Maplewood Chapel Mausoleum, Freehold.
