Obituary of Veronica Jasko

Veronica “Vickie” Jasko, 69, of Manalapan Township died Friday, November 15, 2013 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Bronx, N.Y. and resided in Freehold for most of her life before moving to Manalapan Township. Mrs. Jasko was a customer service representative for the Central Jersey Bank and Trust Company, Freehold. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold where she served as a Eucharistic minister. Her husband, Edward L. Jasko, Jr. died in 2010. Surviving are two daughters, Lee Ann Schwerthoffer and her husband Richard; and Frances O’Brien; a sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Hal Maury; a brother-in-law, David Edsall; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Jean Jasko; and six grandchildren, Megan, Erica, Alison, and Adam Schwerthoffer and Shawn and Thomas O’Brien. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
