Obituary of Lillian E. Pishioneri
Lillian E. Pishioneri, 89, of Freehold died Sunday, December
22, 2013 at home. Mrs. Pishioneri was
born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and had resided in Apollo, Pennsylvania before
moving to Freehold 45 years ago.
Mrs. Pishioneri was a telephone operator for New Jersey Bell
Telephone Company, Freehold where she was employed for 15 years before her
retirement 25 years ago.
She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold.
Surviving are her husband, Albert F. Pishioneri; two sons,
Lawrence J. Pishioneri and Richard Pishioneri; a daughter and son-in-law,
Felicia and Lawrence Battaglia; two sisters, Dolores Kothheimer and Tressa Best;
five grandchildren, Andrea and husband John, Cara and husband Kevin, Anthony
and wife Janine, Michael, and Lauren and husband Matt; and five great grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Luke,
Benjamin, and Elijah.
The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20
Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St.
Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at
Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In
lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
