Obituary of Frederick E. Walters

Updated Service Information is included: Frederick “Freddy” Eugene Walters, 67, of Freehold NJ passed away on January 15, 2014 at Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey, in Lakewood. Freddy was born on March 14, 1946 in Brackenridge, PA to Louise and Homer Walters. His siblings from PA include Carole, Charles, Marie, Mark, Mary “Chris”, Robert (deceased), and Walter. He married Susan Quackenbush from Wickatunk and lived in Central Jersey, where they formed a family with two children, Rhonda Marie (deceased) and Thomas Matthew. He worked at United Engines in New Brunswick and with numerous plumbers before obtaining his master plumbing license in 1981, when he established a very successful business. His hobbies and interests included antique cars, drag racing, horses, food and anything BBQ. Freddy was known for his dry sense of humor and generosity to many. Frederick is survived by his wife of 47 years, his son, three grandchildren: Sabrina, Krystal, Dustin; two great grandchildren: John Andrew and Max Anthony Eugene, and all beloved household cats. The viewing will be held on at the Abundant Life Church of God, 632 Colts Neck Road, Freehold on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment at Holmdel Mausoleum, Holmdel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Abundant Life Church of God would be appreciated.
