Obituary of Jean Ann Herlan

Jean Ann Herlan, 74, of Freehold died Monday, May 16, 2016 at home in Freehold. She was born in New Brunswick. She was employed at the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company, Freehold for 31 years. Following her retirement from the telephone company she was employed at AT&T, Dayton for ten years. She was a graduate of St. Rose of Lima School, Freehold and Cathedral High School, Trenton. Jean was predeceased by her parents, James and Anna Sack and a sister, Mary Ann Sack. Surviving are a son, William Herlan and his wife Sharon; a daughter, Patricia Letsche and her husband Christopher; a brother, James M. Sack; her grandchildren, James Herlan, Elizabeth Herlan, and Andrew and Kelly Letsche; a great granddaughter, Tesa Fernandez-Herlan; and a niece, Christina Sack. Private services were held under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, P.O. Box 93 Eatontown, NJ 07724 would be appreciated.
