Obituary of Ruby Beecher

Ruby Beecher 57, of Freehold died January 19, 2014 at Imperial Care Center, Neptune Township. She was born in Neptune Township and was lifelong Freehold resident. She was a health care worker. Surviving are her husband, Carl Beecher; a son, Timothy C. Myers; four daughters, Nia Malika Myers, Shareefah T. Beecher, Ameena H. Beecher, and Alicia M. Beecher; her mother, Dorothy Myers; three sisters, Alfreda Holloway, Patricia Wharton, and Betty Jean Butts; 17 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the New Hope Baptist Church, 28 First Street, Freehold on Saturday from noon to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
