Obituary of David J. Hage

David J. Hage, 67, of Jackson Township died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Newark and had resided in Kenilworth before moving to Jackson Township 18 years ago. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. Mr. Hage joined the Freehold Savings Bank in 1989. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2004 and became President and Chief Executive Officer of the bank in 2007. He was a member of the Freehold Center Partnership Board of Directors and a member of Thrift Institutions Community Investment Corporation of New Jersey (TICIC). Mr. Hage was a member of Knight of Columbus Council No. 4186, Kenilworth. Surviving are his wife, Judith A. Milano-Hage; and two brothers-in-law, Richard Milano and wife Carol and Raymond Milano and wife Sue. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
