Obituary of Pamela Bieyle Hennessy
Pamela Bleyle Hennessy, 71, of Colts Neck, passed away peacefully on January 28th, 2014 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Melrose, Massachusetts, she has lived in Colts Neck for the past 42 years.
Mrs. Hennessy was an elementary school teacher in Melrose, Massachusetts and Suffield, Connecticut. Subsequently she taught in the Freehold Township and Colts Neck Township School Districts. In addition to her passion for teaching, she had a fondness for literature, history, animals, and nature.
She earned her BA in Elementary Education from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gustave A. Bleyle Jr., and Phylis B. Bleyle.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Thomas Edward Hennessy Jr., a daughter and son-in-law, Krisa and Christopher Bader of Point Pleasant; a son and daughter-in-law Gregg and Emma Hennessy; two sisters, Gail Thompson of Pittsburgh PA, and Joan Travis of Litchfield, NH; and her three grandchildren, Caroline, Ryan, and Claire.
Pamela will be greatly missed by her family and they ask that she be remembered in your prayers.
Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold was in charge of all arrangements.
