Isabella Cutroneo, 101, of Colts Neck, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at home. Born in Union City, she lived in North Bergen prior to moving to Colts Neck 19 years ago.
Mrs. Cutroneo was a legal secretary for Pajonk & Pajonk, Ridgefield for 50 years, retiring 20 years ago.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Colts Neck, and a member of the Colts Neck Senior Citizens Club.
An avid traveler who enjoyed Cruises, she was an excellent baker and cook, who loved entertaining her family and friends. She also enjoyed crocheting, with many of her handmade items being donated to Project Linus.
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony, who died in 2001.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph A. and Barbara Cutroneo, Savannah, Georgia, two daughters, Mariann Cutroneo, and Roselle Bachonski and her husband Bob, all of Colts Neck; four grandchildren, Lisa Tingue-Walker and her husband George, Marisa Burton, Joseph Cutroneo, Jr. and his wife Vicki, and Michael Solwecki and his wife Amy; and ten great grandchildren, Melanie and Michael Tingue, Michael and Will Solwecki, Chase, MacKenzie, and Dalton Burton, Erin, Julia, and Alyssa Cutroneo.
Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at a church and time to be confirmed. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview. Donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society, Jersey Shore Region, 2310 Route 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736 would be appreciated.
