Obituary of Sarah Ellen Berendt

Sarah Ellen Young Berendt, 77, of Manalapan Township, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at home. Born in Jamesburg, she had resided in Manalapan Township for the past 55 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Berthold Berendt; and her children Bert Charles Berendt and Bonnie Lee Berendt. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Kelich, Manalapan Township; and two grandchildren, Alana and Peter Kelich. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery.
