Obituary of Ann S. Peterson
Ann S. Peterson, 92, of Freehold Township died Friday, March 21, 2014 at home. Mrs. Peterson was born in Connecticut, was raised in Plainfield, and had resided in Colonia before moving to Freehold.
Mrs. Peterson was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Conrad E. Peterson and a daughter, Patricia Orbeton.
Surviving are four sons, Conrad John Peterson, James Henry Peterson, Donald Edward Peterson, and Christopher Thomas Peterson, two daughters, Janet Marraffa, and Mary Pesciotta; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
