Obituary of Willie E. Duncan

Willie E. Duncan, Jr., 78, of Freehold died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown. He was born in Boydton, Virginia and had resided in Freehold for many years. He was an orderly at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township for ten years before his retirement. Surviving are a son, Gaylord Duncan and his fiancé, Julie Blount; a sister, Rebecca Ratcliff; a brother, Carwell Duncan, four grandchildren, Derek, Camron, Nicole, and Jaylen; a great grandchild, Ashton, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Duncan, five brothers and two sisters. A viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in Boydton followed by interment at St. Paul’s Baptist Church Cemetery in Boydton.
