Obituary of Eva Lynn Tarnowski

Eva Lynn Tarnowski, 66, of Fair Lawn died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. She was born in Neptune Township and was a former resident of Howell Township. She was an unselfish, loving, and giving mother and grandmother. She was a volunteer and supporter of many organizations including Pop Warner Football, Little League Baseball, and the Boy Scouts. She was a former communicant of St. Veronica’s Church, Howell Township. She was predeceased by her parents, Gus and Alice Katerinys, her grandmother, Eva Moise, and a grandson, Michael. Surviving are three sons, Gus, David and wife Nicole, and Todd and wife Kimberly; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Jack, Camden, Shane, Blake, Jadelyn, and Allison; and her companion, John Mernick. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
